Our vision of the Rice County Child Advocacy Center is that all kids can live a life free from the consequences of abuse.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between families and the professionals that investigate and prosecute child abuse so all victims can receive compassionate, quality intervention services.
Therapy
Therapy at a Child Advocacy Center is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for children who have experienced trauma. Trained professionals use age-appropriate techniques to help children express their feelings and process their experiences The goal is to empower children, promote healing, and help them develop coping skills the future. Through individualized therapy sessions, children can begin to regain their sense of safety and trust in the world around them.
